Costco sucks

So I had an interview with Costco, like 2 weeks ago just about. The lady who interviewed me said I'll probably make a decision and give you a call on Friday... Well on Friday I was in Mesquite, but I didn't get a call anyways. Then again on Saturday, I should have called because this woman hasn't called me ONCE during the process, even to get an interview I called her and she said "oh, okay I thought I called you, come in at 4." So I should have called her on Saturday, but I didn't because one, I wanted to give her an extra day (maybe she was busy Friday and couldn't call me) and two, I was afraid that because she hadn't called the answer was "no". Well she didn't call, and then last week came and left with no call, further verifying to me that I didn't get the job.
So Mom went to Costco to shop and she saw my friend David in the food court area and she went up to talk to him and according to her, according to him "the managers are all out of town this week so that's why I didn't get a call, so I shouldn't give up hope, they would be back on Friday." Well Friday came and I didn't get a call, but I figured "they'll call tomorrow or even Monday, heck they just got back from out of town, I wouldn't want to work either." Mom told me to give them until Monday, and then I should call them. Well I again didn't want to call yesterday for the reasons above.
So today I'm awoken by David's ring tone, and he tells me.... "Because they took so long to call you, last weekend Costco put on a hiring freeze, so they can't hire you now anyways." !!! **Mom stop reading**

WHAT THE FUCK!!! So because my dumb ass didn't call them Saturday from Mesquite or any time last week, or on Friday when they all got back, I wasted another opportunity to get a good job and now I'm down to relying on the damn Postal Service again, though I haven't been hired over there yet, and talking to Clay I have to start my shift between 4 and 6 p.m. in order to stay there because people earlier in the day are being sent home early when there isn't any mail to key.
